  2. Remnant: From The Ashes is currently in development by Gunfire Games, the studio that brought us Darksiders III. Leading Publisher Perfect World Entertainment recently announced the survival-action shooter that promises unique worlds, intense combat, and seamless co-op. “Perfect World Entertainment jumped at the opportunity to partner with Gunfire Games,” said Yoon Im, senior vice president of publishing at Perfect World Entertainment. “Their deep expertise in creating fantastical worlds, steeped in rich sci-fi themes make them the perfect partner to expand our company’s portfolio of live service games. Remnant: From the Ashes will deliver a unique, dynamic world that provides an infinite number of ways to explore and combat enemies. We know players will love our twist on the survival-action genre.” “Remnant: From the Ashes is about working together to build something bigger than yourself, and that idea is core to our approach to the game,” said David Adams, co-founder of Gunfire Games.“ Perfect World Entertainment has been supportive of our pursuit to develop a game with a robust co-op experience. The company’s live service knowledge coupled with our signature gameplay and world-building, enables us to develop an immersive world that we hope players will enjoy solo or together, for years to come.” From Perfect World Entertainment: "Remnant: From the Ashes is a third-person survival-action game set in a post-apocalyptic world overrun by mythical creatures. Players build characters to suit their individual playstyle and survive the perils of diverse and deadly environments, alone or alongside a team of up to three other players. The game offers unique, customizable gameplay experience filled with intense shooting, melee combat, gear and weapon crafting, character progression, deadly enemies, epic bosses and dynamically-generated levels that offer an infinite number of ways to explore." An ambitious project with lofty visual and gameplay goals, Remnant: From the Ashes will feature a variety of worlds, each with new challenges. Flexibility is key, as each dynamically-created world will require ingenuity to develop an effective strategy for that particular landscape. Experience gained in one world will help to provide the necessary skills to conquer the next. Players will encounter dozens of monsters in each world, specific to their unique and challenging environments. In the bleak and frightening landscape, making friends may be the only chance for survival. Skilled tradesman will play an integral part of the game and will appreciate the protection of a player's base. They are a part of the crafting system, offering skills, resources, weapons, and upgrades in trade for their safety. Tradesmen are not the only other humans encountered in the game and players are encouraged to team up with up to three other players, dramatically increasing their power through strength in numbers and boosting the chances of overall success. Co-op is likely to play a large part in this particular game. When choosing characters and teammates, analyzing the available character and hero archetypes is a must. Choosing heroes that have complementing strengths will be the best for team development as a whole. Remnant: From the Ashes will make its public debut with fully playable hands-on demos at Gamescom, August 21 – 25, 2018. There's no release date yet, but there is a trailer:

  4. Have you ever played a questing hero in a game, stopped through a weapons shop or blacksmith on your way to slay some dragons or other enemies and wondered what it would be like to play as the blacksmith? I know, me neither. But someone has, and Holy Potatoes! A Weapon Shop?! is a way to live out that dream in an entertaining and quirky game. A wacky game with a wacky name, Holy Potatoes! A Weapon Shop?! has been available on Steam for a couple years, but has just recently made its way onto the Nintendo Switch and PS4 consoles as a digital download. If you're a fan of management sims and already have your favorites, A Weapon Shop is still a great addition to your library. Games like this tend to be time sucks, where all of a sudden you've put 100 hours into a game you're not even sure you like it yet, so they have to provide something appealing to keep players coming back. Something must be going right for this particular game to have expanded its reach beyond the PC market. Perhaps it's the quirky characters, the entertaining storyline, or the award-winning soundtrack. Or, the fact that you can adopt your very own potato dog. Whatever the reason, players will enjoy the relatively simple mechanics and gameplay — this isn't a management sim that gets overwhelmingly difficult and tedious as time goes by. Develop an individual system for your shop and keep forging weapons for the questing heroes. From Rising Star Games: "Holy Potatoes! A Weapon Shop?! is a management and simulation game where players own and manage their very own weapon shop, and work toward expanding their business throughout the entire potato universe." Features: Bonus Adventure: Includes the bonus adventure Spud Tales: Journey To Olympus Manage Your Shop: Dive into a hilarious potato world and take control of your own weapon shop, employing over 30 smiths to cook up the best weapons you can Weapons: Craft hundreds of unique weapons, training up your smiths to make better swords, axes, and bows that'll bring in bigger wedges of cash Weapon-Smithing: Explore the world for materials, relics, and enchantments, then use them to research and build valuable weapon types Icons: Meet over 20 spudified versions of legendary pop-culture icons! Soundtrack: Features music by Kimura Masahiko, the legendary composer behind the scores for the Genso Suikoden and Castlevania series Holy Potatoes! A Weapon Shop is the first in the charming and amusing Holy Potatoes! series of games that also includes Holy Potatoes! What The Hell?! and Holy Potatoes! We're in Space?!. A hell-themed cooking management sim and a space exploration and management sim respectively, the Holy Potatoes! games make management sims fun with delightful colorful, cartoony characters and delightful storylines. Determined not to take themselves too seriously, they are just challenging enough, without the frustration that comes along with more difficult or realistic sims. Watch the Holy Potatoes?! The expansive Darksiders III game world is presented as an open-ended, living, free-form planet Earth, dilapidated by war and decay, and overrun by nature. War is a member of "The Charred Council", which is essentially The Four Horseman, tasked with the difficult feat of brokering the end of the long, bloody war between the kingdoms of Heaven and Hell. When humanity appears on Earth, things become more complicated for the Kingdoms and The Charred Council, and a series of events finds War on present-day Earth, enmeshed in a fierce quest to gain revenge for a stark betrayal. Darksiders III is set to continue this epic series with new characters, a new story, and all of the upgrades that modern gaming has to offer.

  9. Monster Hunter fans rejoice! Earlier this year, Capcom announced that the latest game in the Monster Hunter universe would be coming to PC via Steam in the Fall of 2018. However, they recently revealed that the game would be released early, on August 9th. Monster Hunter: World originally released on January 26, 2018, to much fanfare, and in the following months, set itself apart as the best selling game in Capcom's history, which is an impressive feat. The modern take on the Monster Hunter franchise sold over 8 million copies throughout the world, and the PC release is set to increase that number. In this entry, players take on larger than life monsters in a variety of vast, living, breathing ecosystems either solo or with up to three other hunters via online co-op, complete with drop-in functionality, a first for the series. From Capcom: "In Monster Hunter: World, follow the journey of the elder dragons as they begin their once a decade migration across the sea to a land known as the New World in an event referred to by inhabitants as the Elder Crossing. As part of the Guild’s Research Commission, players must embark on a grand journey to this massive, mysterious land and uncover the secrets behind this phenomenon. As hunters set out on their quests, the Commission’s sights are set on Zorah Magdaros, a colossal elder dragon that rises from the earth like a volcano." The Monster Hunter: World PC edition is currently available for pre-order on Steam . The PC game will contain the original release, and updates and improvements that have been made to other versions of the game will be gradually applied to the PC version. Players who grab the game before the release will receive some pretty cool pre-order bonus content: Origin Set The Origin Set armor is a nostalgic must-have for series fans. This full armor set (head, chest, arms, waist, and legs) comes with enough defense to carry you through the early quests, and also features plenty of skills useful for gathering. Fair Wind Charm The Fair Wind charm carries a skill that increases your attack power, and one that adds a chance of reducing the damage you take. The charm also has a nice visual impact, as equipping it will add a glowing aura effect to your left arm! Unfortunately, despite this big release and the excitement surrounding it, Nintendo Switch players are disappointed that there are no plans to bring Monster Hunter: World to the popular hybrid console. However, there is a consolation prize in the form of Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate, the follow-up to Monster Hunter Generations. Generation and Generations Ultimate are considered "classic" Monster Hunter games, marketed towards long-time fans of the game with an understanding of the game, play style, and lore. This is a direct contrast to Monster Hunter: World, which turned the franchise on its head with much more modern gaming and seamless multiplayer features, bringing in a whole new legion of fans who may or may not have played any of the previous games. 10. On July 10, Outright Games released Hotel Transylvania 3: Monsters Overboard, based on Sony Pictures Animation’s film Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation. The new game is now available on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. It's a lighthearted family game, perfect for families and kids of all ages, especially fans of the popular Hotel Transylvania movie and game franchise. “We are pleased to release Hotel Transylvania 3: Monsters Overboard today and think fans will love continuing the story of Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation, which hits theaters this week as well,” says Terry Malham, CEO of Outright Games. “This new game is a great way to keep the summer fun going all year long.” Unlike many games that release in conjunction with or following a movie, Monsters Overboard doesn't follow the story of the movie, though it can be seen as a follow-up and continuation of the main story. But, like Summer Vacation, it's a "fish out of water" tale for the Hotel Transylvania cast. When a huge, mysterious storm strikes, Dracula, Mavis, and the rest are washed up the Lost Islands. Like the name, if you're trapped there then you're, well, lost . The Islands are populated with strange, but loveable creatures called Impa, who aren't there to hurt you, but rather, are willing to help! Players must form a team of Impas and accompany them on dangerous missions to save missing monsters Frankenstein, Murray the mummy, and Wayne the werewolf. Along the way, discover new Impa varieties like Frankenimpa, Wolfimpa, and more. You'll need their help and skills to fight frightening enemies, discover hidden treasure, and hopefully save the day. Suitable for children that are fans of the Hotel Transylvania franchise, Monsters Overboard isn't likely to be particularly challenging or gritty. But, backed by a first-class game studio and of course, Sony Pictures Entertainment, it's sure to be a fun, entertaining, and well-produced game. "Hotel Transylvania 3: Monsters Overboard is the perfect companion to Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation,” says Jamie Stevens, EVP Worldwide Consumer Products at Sony Pictures Entertainment. “We are excited for fans to dive into a new monster adventure, explore Drac’s extraordinary world and make new friends along the way!” From Outright Games: Have fun with Drac’s Pack Enter the spooky fun world of Hotel Transylvania and meet all your favorite Frankenhomies from Johnny, Frank and Dennis, to sea captain Ericka from the new film. With stunning visuals and humor faithful to the franchise, you’ll laugh your way through your very own monster adventure. Meet a lovable new team of friends The Impa are at your command! These curious little creatures will follow where you lead and do what you ask. And when you combine the abilities of the bat-like Vampa, digging Wolfimpa, super-strong Frankenimpa and others, you can solve the toughest puzzles and beat fearsome enemies. There’s more to explore Perfect your Impa strategies and go deeper into the mysterious Lost Islands to discover hidden treasures, secret boss battles and new shortcuts. The ghoulish fun doesn’t stop! 11. 2K announced today that the upcoming WWE 2K19 wrestling game will include none other than Olympic medalist, feature film actress, UFC® Hall of Famer, and current WWE® Superstar, “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey®. Ronda has shocked wrestling fans as of late with a surprise Royal Rumble® 2018 appearance and blockbuster WrestleMania® 34 debut match, so it makes sense that one of the most recognizable women in the WWE universe is included in their upcoming flagship game. “From an Olympic tatami to the UFC Octagon to the WWE ring, Ronda is a one-of-a-kind athlete and incredible ambassador for career and life empowerment,” said Chris Snyder, Vice President of Marketing at 2K. “Her discipline, determination, and attitude toward accomplishing her goals and silencing her critics make her the perfect embodiment of WWE 2K19’s ‘Never Say Never’ global marketing campaign. We are thrilled to welcome Ronda to the WWE 2K family and can’t wait to see what’s in store for her in the years to come.” Ronda Rousey is not the first person in the WWE ring to carry the "Rowdy" name, which comes with a long history. Rowdy Roddy Piper is one of the most famous names in wrestling history and Ronda takes to the ring in Roddy Piper inspired signature gear, in real life and in the game. She's proud of her connection to the "Rowdy" legacy: “As a WWE Superstar, having support from the Piper family means everything to me,” said Ronda Rousey. “It’s an honor to be part of WWE 2K19 and have my name mentioned alongside so many important Superstars in WWE history, including Rey Mysterio, Kurt Angle®, Ultimate Warrior®, Sting™ and Goldberg™.” It seems that the Piper family is happy to have Ronda in their ranks, as well: “Anybody can call themselves ‘Rowdy’, but it takes a special, talented and dedicated individual to live up to the ‘Rowdy’ name,” said Colt Toombs, son of “Rowdy” Roddy Piper. “My dad saw it in Ronda, and so do we. She is truly ‘Rowdy to the core,’ and that mindset really comes through in the trailer for WWE 2K19.” Rousey and former WWE Champion Rey Mysterio will be available as bonus content for players that pre-order the game at participating retailers. WWE 2K19 is currently scheduled for worldwide release on October 9, 2018, with Early Access players receiving their copies and in-game bonuses beginning four days early on October 5, 2018. WWE 2K19 will be available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The WWE 2K19 Deluxe Edition includes Early Access, Season Pass digital content, and pre-order bonus digital content (playable Rey Mysterio “Royal Rumble 2018” character and playable Ronda Rousey “WrestleMania 34/Roddy Piper-inspired” character). The Collector's Edition includes Deluxe Edition content plus premium packaging, exclusive physical collectibles, and Limited Edition WWE SuperCard content. Last night's WWE Monday Night Raw featured 2K’s global pre-order trailer for WWE 2K19, marking Ronda's impressive entrance and rise in the WWE, with the popular video game being a major development in her career. 12. In most of the Wild West-themed movies, shows and games out there, the Native Americans are being portrayed as the main antagonists and troublemakers against whom, the hero protagonist – usually a gun slinging cowboy, a brave US Marshal or a trigger-happy Sheriff need to go up against. Rarely was there ever a genuine opportunity for us to see the other side of the coin, and experience what it was like being a Native American and dealing with all the hardships that came with the arrival of the new settlers and rapid industrialization of their native lands. This gap in the genre was recognized by the Game Labs, the creators of the widely successful Ultimate General series, who began working on a game where players will be put in the shoes of a Native American tribesman in his fight against the Westerners. The working title of the game is This Land is My Land, a name which is meant as a pun to the famous 1940’s folk song This Land is Your Land by Woody Guthrie, a song that talks about American lands which range “from California to New York Island”. This Land is My Land will be an open world game with combat focusing on stealth rather than on gun-blazing action. This is of no surprise as Native Americans were, in the beginning of the conflict, heavily underpowered in terms of modern weaponry and had to rely on their traditional armament such as the legendary Tomahawks, bows, arrows and atlatls in order to fend off the incoming Westerners. Besides in combat, stealth will also be used for completing objectives as developers stated that every mission will have multiple approaches, so it will be up to players to decide if they want to be violent or non-violent in their playthrough. Stealth will be an important part of the gameplay. The approach the players take will also have an effect on enemy AI as well as the world around them. Namely, developers said that the game mechanics ''will treat you [the player] as an intelligent adult who can make smart decisions to overcome our cooperative AI, that intelligently reacts to threats and changing surroundings'' meaning that the game world will be hostile from the very beginning and in-game characters will adapt in response to our actions. On top of that, every time we restart the game the world is going to change, with cities expanding and shrinking, camps being moved around and patrols taking different routes making every playthrough unique. Judging by the released screenshots, players will also get to traverse the vast open terrains of the American Mid-West by riding horses, which will without a doubt be an enjoyable experience with all the picturesque forests and mountains laying about. Scenery in This Land is My Land looks wonderful! As of right now, there is unfortunately no more information available on This Land is My Land. Game Labs still hasn’t given an estimated release date, nor any gameplay videos, however the screenshots posted so far all look incredible, with wonderful scenery and very detailed characters, as such i am very eager to see what will the developers further come up with, and I sincerely hope that we will get more info on this wonderful game soon. You can view the additional screenshots on the This Land is My Land official website.
  13. During the E3 conference, Square Enix, the publisher and developer of some of the famous game franchises such as the Final Fantasy, the Tomb Raider and the Hitman, showcased a trailer for their upcoming game titled The Quite Man. The trailer immediately attracted lots of attention as it was an interesting mix of both live-actions shots, as well as in-game footage. On top of that, the trailer was also rather weird as it featured a guy confronting some fellas who were just sitting in an alley, casually drinking and telling him to get lost as they didn’t want the ''chow'' he was carrying in a paper bag. From there, things got more confusing as the dude just goes crazy and beats up all of them, and even ends up putting the said paper bag on one of the guy’s faces while he is just lying on the ground unconscious. Nothing more was said after the trailer was released, except that more info on the game will be available in August, so naturally, people started speculating as to what was the trailer actually about. My initial theory was that we will get to assume the role of a disgruntled food delivery guy who had to go out in the middle of a night in an attempt to make a delivery, only to discover that he has been pranked called, so in order to vent his anger, he goes ballistic on the three drunks who gave him a dirty look and refused his undelivered food. Despite the awesomeness of my theory, it turns out that the story is much deeper than that, as the latest letter from the producer, which you can read below, confirms it. And for those with bad vision, such as myself, here is a typed out version: ““Words” are truly amazing. They possess the power even to change the world. This is undeniable. For me personally, words are as precious as they are valuable. That said, I believe we as humans are capable of connections that transcend words—for example, an infant need only to look into his mother’s eyes to know he is safe and loved. And in a world that overflows with cascades of words taken for granted, I can’t help but think it’s often difficult to realize such connections exist. Words shape consciousness; indeed, some even say that “words are life.” But what if we were to cast aside such a life? What if somehow, we were able to understand one another through connections formed heart to heart, soul to soul, and could once again look into one another’s eyes and form a bond so pure? This concept lies at the core of The Quiet Man. Feelings that remain after words are abandoned, feelings that can be conveyed even without words—aren’t these the feelings that are truly important in this life?" Yes, so I guess my theory about the angry delivery driver holds no merit, but nevertheless this letter made me rewatch the original trailer more carefully and notice some things that I’ve missed the first time around. Namely, at 0:29 of the video, just as the hobos refuse the guy’s chow, we can see him pointing at his ear and gesticulating that he doesn’t hear them, implying that he is deaf or maybe even mute, meaning that he is probably the Quiet Man. Also, at 0:42, just prior to the confrontation and the trailers' transition from live-action to CGI, we can see a man lying on the ground behind the Quite Man, which can possibly mean that that man was attacked by the three drunk guys and that Quite Man is simply avenging him. Although this does shine a bit more light on the game, there are still many unanswered questions making this the most enigmatic trailer of the E3, after Kojima’s Death Stranding of course. Nevertheless, the trailer does look promising and with the producer’s letter out, it is safe to assume that there will be some philosophical or pseudoscience background to the story which makes everything that more interesting. My only worry as of right now is that mixing of live-action sequences does not turn The Quite Man into an atrocity such as The Quantum Break which, for those unfamiliar with the latter, forces players to watch 15 minute live-action videos in between levels in order to prolong the storyline. Lastly, we just have to wait until August to get more information on The Quite Man, but until then we can all enjoy the trailer and read up on theories and speculations about the it and the game which arise almost daily. You can see the trailer for the upcoming The Quiet Man below.
  14. Woah, that monster reminds me of the one from The Stranger Things. Thanks for the tip, i will definitely check it out!
  15. Any time is a good time to be terrified. Thanks to SODESCO, Team Junkfish's acclaimed first-person survival horror game, Monstrum , will be available on soon on PS4 and Xbox One — it's been on PC since 2015, with regular updates. At this point, it's developed into a successful game with a following of loyal fans, and that trend won't be slowing anytime soon. While longtime players and fans are likely to buy the newest versions of the game, the jump to consoles will bring in all new players. Since its release, Monstum has sold more than 100,000 copies and earned a 90% review percentage on Steam, which is no small feat. It sets itself apart as a procedurally generated game, meaning that each game is different than the last. Players may be able to master certain strategies as they play, but the will never be able to conquer it in the same way as a game that remains constant. This provides a unique challenge for gamers looking for something fresh and exciting every time they pick up the controller. Players are trapped on an extremely creepy abandoned freighter that they must escape, but its as if the ship itself is a shapeshifter, changing with each playthrough. From SODESCO: "Monstrum is procedurally generated, so in each playthrough, players will face new fears and will have to invent new tactics. The goal of the game is to escape an abandoned cargo ship, infested by one of three daunting monsters called the Brute, the Fiend, and the Hunter. Each monster has its own behavior and requires a distinct approach. This, combined with the fact that the arena is different every time, makes Monstrum a unique experience with every playthrough." Game features: Survive a different environment and monster each time you play. Use whatever you can find to outwit the monsters and escape the ship. Stay alive or start all over again. Good luck. Start running. Hide, distract and run, but be careful not to fall into the numerous traps. Players will have to think quickly and use all of the tools available if they wish to survive their harrowing escape. Unfortunately, it is impossible to get out with just your wits, so you may have to venture further in to the ship to find the supplies necessary. Sometimes you can distract the monster at hand with a tool or item or hide in hopes that they slide by. But, no matter how carefully you plan, the monster is bound to get the better of you, eventually. So you start again, on a different ship with a different map. Even when the monster isn't nearby, the frightening atmosphere will follow you everywhere, distracting you until you lose focus and fall into one of the ship's many traps. Monstrum already looks fantastic on PC, but it's certain that every aspect of the game will be optimized for its upcoming console release. It's currently available on Steam and can be used with Oculus Rift VR technology. Console release coming soon! Watch the gameplay trailer:
  16. 2D platformers like The Lost Vikings were the stars of the Super Nintendo era. While several games have attempted to replicate the challenging, yet humorous and entertaining gameplay experience, none have quite lived up to the task — until Grave Danger. With quirky characters and a hero's quest as the backdrop, Grave Danger's charming modern graphics and mechanics bring a popular retro game genre back to the forefront. The colorful worlds, thoughtful puzzling adventure, and uniquely talented playable characters are highlights, but desirable features like drop-in co-op play add another layer to the game. It's necessary for each character to perform to their particular strengths in order to be successful and it's absolutely possible for a single player to switch between them and complete the game. However, up to two additional players can join at any time and control their favorite. This type of casual co-op plays exceptionally well on consoles, especially the Nintendo Switch, which is designed to be portable and play well in a social setting. Though Grave Danger has been around for a little while, it's current edition, which released in late June of this year, should perform well on the indie-friendly Switch. From Spotted Shark Studio: "Players will enjoy an action-packed adventure game about an unlikely group of heroes. Switch between Dante the cowboy, Elliot the wizard, and Malice the reaper; use their different abilities to solve puzzles and make their way out of trouble. Will you be able to guide them to victory? Enjoy single player or co-op in order to solve puzzles! Enlist your friends to control all three characters locally, utilizing them to their maximum potential. If you can't play with a friend or want the completely single player experience, that's fine too; the game will be completely playable in either mode." Game Features: Ultimate Edition with 10 new levels! Mind-challenging puzzles! Beautifully crafted worlds. Local Co-op, have a friend join in at any time! Switch between three unique and quirky characters. Challenge yourself with time-trial and perfect level runs. "Grave Dangers gameplay is about utilizing each character's unique abilities to solve puzzles. The player will switch between these characters and master their movements and attacks, guiding our heroes further into the story. Manage your party and keep everyone alive. Nobody likes a dead teammate. Don't leave your heroes unattended in a dangerous spot or they might get beat up! Teamwork is essential in Grave Danger. Each character must pull their weight and traverse the world to safety. Dante the cowboy is capable of climbing vertical walls. Malice the reaper can float horizontally across chasms and through narrow and dangerous areas. Elliot the wizard has magical elevation and can jump again once in mid-air." Grave Danger is available for PC, PS4, and Nintendo Switch. Watch the trailer:
  17. As a heat wave grips the United States and much of the entire world, people are flocking to pools and water parks, hoping to find some relief from the oppressively high temperatures. Here in the South, where we're used to hot temps and soggy humidity, we're better prepared for the heat. Everyone knows that powerful air conditioning is a must during the Summer months. So, even though it's way too hot to go outside, my house is comfortably cool, and I'm happy to stay inside and play video games all day. Steam may not have been able to predict the heat wave that has everyone sitting inside, even on July 4th, but they know that Summer means hot days and kids home from school. So, it's time for their much-anticipated Summer Sale. Steam often has excellent sales with huge discounts throughout the year, but this one knocks the prices down on a ton of games, from indie titles to some of the biggest games and franchises available. If you've been waiting for the price to drop to purchase a particular game, now is your chance. Hurry up, the sale ends on July 5! Here's just a sample of the games discounted in Steam's 'Intergalactic Summer Sale Finale': Rocket League The weirdly popular 'soccer with cars' physics-based competition game is 50% off, and at $9.99, it's a steal! I was skeptical about it at first, but it's a lot of fast-paced fun! "A futuristic Sports-Action game, Rocket League®, equips players with booster-rigged vehicles that can be crashed into balls for incredible goals or epic saves across multiple, highly-detailed arenas. Now with a full single-player experience." Player Unkown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) It only seems like everyone is playing Fortnite. PUBG is still going strong with its 100 player Batte Royale format. It's discounted 33% and is only $19.99. "PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS is a battle royale shooter that pits 100 players against each other in a struggle for survival. Gather supplies and outwit your opponents to become the last person standing." The Forest As a fan of survival and horror games, The Forest is at the top of my 'need to play' list. I haven't gotten to it, yet, but I'm anxious to dig into this gritty experience. It's 33% off for the duration of the sale. "As the lone survivor of a passenger jet crash, you find yourself in a mysterious forest battling to stay alive against a society of cannibalistic mutants. Build, explore, survive in this terrifying first person survival horror simulator." Stellaris Explore space and employ the best strategy as you establish your space empire. 60% off! "Explore a vast galaxy full of wonder! Paradox Development Studio, makers of the Crusader Kings and Europa Universalis series presents Stellaris, an evolution of the grand strategy genre with space exploration at its core." DRAGON BALL FighterZ DRAGON BALL FighterZ has quickly risen to the top as one of the most successful fighting games. I didn't understand what all the fuss was about — then I played the game. At just $35.99, now is the time to grab what is arguably one of the best games of the year. "DRAGON BALL FighterZ is born from what makes the DRAGON BALL series so loved and famous: endless spectacular fights with its all-powerful fighters." There's a lot more on sale, including some of the biggest game franchises like Total War, Tomb Raider, Elder Scrolls, Civilization, Rainbow Six, Assassin's Creed, Fallout, Final Fantasy, and much more!
  18. I can see that. Fortunately, the second game wasn't really necessary, since it just tell's Chloe and Rachel's story. I think the next game will be back to the mechanics, story, and characters of the original game.
  19. VAR is helpful but there is no consistency on how it is used, that's my point. For example, in the Serbia - Swiss game, there was an obvious penalty and the ref refused to look at VAR despite being warned from the VAR room, same for Croatia when they were denied a red card against Denmark after their player was fouled in front of an empty goal. Both of those situations could have affected the outcome of the match, but were ignored because refs look bad if they doubt their initial decisions. They need to incorporate something similar to Challenges in tennis, and allow both teams to ask for VAR review one or two times per match. This would get rid of sketchy situations, give equal treatment to everyone and reduce the dependency on refs discretion in using VAR.

  21. It has been twenty years since the first Harvest Moon game was released, and to celebrate, Natsume and Rising Star Games released the most immersive game in the Harvest Moon series, while staying true to the legacy of the franchise and its fans. Harvest Moon: Light of Hope features the familiar gameplay and style of previous games, but adds new features, more depth to the story and characters, and a "retro plus" graphics style. The Harvest Moon games are lighthearted and family-friendly games but maintain a strong adult following, especially among fans who have played all or at least some of the many games throughout the years. Players keep coming back for the familiar gameplay that is more casual than challenging. However, they are addictive, playable, and incredibly charming. More than just a farming sim, Harvest Moon titles, including Light of Hope, have a story, goals, and the opportunity to foster and grow relationships with NPCs. The popular franchise has even led to imitators like the much-loved Stardew Valley. The newest game in the series is hoping to keep up with modern gaming by offering new features. Light of is the first Harvest Moon game to include co-op play, via Soleil, the gem sprite, who can be controlled by a secondary player for cooperative farming and adventuring. The Special Edition also features a Season Pass that includes all four DLCs, which are also available for individual purchase. Over the years, many Harvest Moon games have been released on mobile consoles like the Nintendo DS line of systems and they lend themselves particularly well a portable format. They are great games to just pick up and play when you have a few free minutes to spare, though they can be difficult to put down once you get started. Fortunately, though Light of Hope is also available for PS4, it is the first Harvest Moon for the Nintendo Switch, continuing a long tradition of portable games — but this one is expansive enough to warrant home console play, as well. From Rising Star Games: In Harvest Moon: Light of Hope, players begin the game as they set out looking for a fresh start and new surroundings. During their voyage, their ship is hit by a monsoon and goes down. As they drift into a small harbor town, now in a shambles from the storm, it will be up to the player to help rebuild the town and save the lighthouse...but it won't be easy! Nevertheless, with some hard work growing crops, tending livestock, and gathering materials for repairs, players will be able to make new friends, start a family, revive the lighthouse, and save the town! "Harvest Moon: Light of Hope will set itself apart from other Harvest Moon titles with its depth, including a robust story and clear-cut goals," said Hiro Maekawa, President & CEO of Natsume, upon the release of the much-anticipated game. "We set out to create a SNES-style nostalgic game with deep and meaningful characters and events, and we are excited to have our fans play it at E3 and tell us what they think!" Harvest Moon: Light of Hope Special Edition is available for Nintendo Switch and PS4. Watch the trailer:
  22. I was feeling bad because Germany is out but.. I can't deny one thing; The matches have been more exciting. Yes and that make this exciting.
  23. Since Brasil is alive, I think the will reach the finals, they already won 5 tournaments and since others like Germany or Spain are out, I would choose Brasil as champion, thier 6th cup. Croatia, Japan, Sweden did a great job this time.
  24. I wanted Krystal, but she is an assist trophy already. A lot of people are requesting Waluigi, I think he is just a refill character for sport games, he never appeared in any main game, he has not background, he is an assist trophy, its not even clear if he is Wario brother, hes never mentioned in main games as Wario Land or Wariowere. Since Cloud is in the game they have a deal with Square-Enix and they could a character more representative of Nintendo Final Fantasy games as Terra Branford or even bettr, the iconic Black Mage. They can add another Punch Out! character. Bald Bull is the most famous, also Super Macho Man would be nice, release the... bogus!.
  25. What about Isaac from Gloden Sun, I have not seen him as assist trophie in Ultimate, Golden sun is now a forgotten franchise, but the games were innovative, Isaac already appeared in other Smash Bros games adn I think can have a cool moveset. I am sure an ARMS character will appear.
  26. Yes VAR should be like cameras in other sports and with somoene watching %100 of time, but I think has been very helpful and reduced a lot of mistakes. Japan was a real surprise, and Mexico at least in the first phase.
  27. im so glad they decided to use spyro like this instead of another skylanders game
  28. I think that the tournament has been pretty fun so far. Lots of goals and exciting matches, especially in the last two days with all the penalty shootouts, but i honestly can't stand what they are doing with VAR. Its use has been so subjective that its is getting ridiculous, there are no clear guidelines on when it should be used so i feel like that many times, referees just refuse to look at it as it would be as though they are doubting themselves. I was also pretty bummed that Italy didn't qualify, but Colombia has been a nice surprise, as well as Japan.
